School holiday declared tomorrow to accommodate police officers; check the list of schools that will remain closed on Monday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A holiday has been declared for 28 schools in Thiruvananthapuram city limits tomorrow to provide accommodation for police officers who will be on duty for the Attukal Pongala.

Holidays have been declared for Thunchan Memorial Committee TTI, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Karamana, Government Boys High School Chala, Government Girls High School Chala, Government LP School Chala, Government Tamil Higher Secondary School Chala, Government UP School Chala, Government Sanskrit High School Fort, Government Sanskrit LP School Fort, Government Central High School, Government LP School Kuriyathi, Jawahar EMHS Manakkad, Sri Maruthiram EMHS Karamana, Government UP School Valiyasala, Sri Vidyadhiraja Vidyamandir Kalippam Kulam, Government UP School Ambalathara, Government UP School Thampanoor, Government Boys School Karamana, Government Girls High School Karamana, SMV Government Girls High School Thampanoor, Attukal Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Government Higher Secondary School Kamleshwaram, Government UP School Konchiravila, Government High School Kalady, Government UP School Nedumkad, Government UP School Fort, Government Higher Secondary School Manakkad and Mission School Fort.

The District Collector has declared a local holiday on March 3rd in Thiruvananthapuram district. The District Collector has announced that it will be a holiday for all educational institutions, government and semi-government institutions in the district. The Pongala festival began on February 23rd.
