Shafi Parambil MP expresses anger at function in Kuttiyadi for being invited late to speak

KOZHIKODE: Shafi Parambil MP expressed anger at the function organized in Kuttiyadi as part of the Puthu Yuga Yatra led by opposition leader V D Satheesan. Shafi got angry for inviting him late to speak. Shafi was supposed to speak before V D Satheesan. However, DCC secretary Pramod Kakattil, who was presiding over the meeting, invited Satheesan to speak. Meanwhile, the people present there invited Shafi to speak.

Shafi then stopped Pramod Kakattil, who moved forward to take the mike. Shafi asked if he was being called after they called him. A small argument ensued on the stage. Satheesan then continued his speech. After Satheesan's speech, Pramod called Shafi to speak. Shafi then said that he was not going to speak much and ended his word.

Shafi then said, telling the opposition leader that when counting more than a hundred, count Kuttiyadi also. Meantime, DCC President K Praveen Kumar responded that there was no exchange of views on the stage. He also explained that Shafi had told him not to call him again when the reception got delayed
