Showered expletives on stage; Popular motivational speaker Anil booed, shown the door

KOZHIKODE: A popular motivational speaker who indulged in expletives during an event was forced to leave the stage following outrage from the audience. The incident took place during the business meeting of Kozhikode CSWA. Anil Balachandran, a popular motivational speaker known as 'The Kingmaker' was booed and asked the leave the stage by the audience. As part of conducting the talk show, Anil had previously taken a huge reward of Rs four lakh from the organizers. The event with almost 5000 people also had a musical event by playback singer Sithara.

Anil Balachandran arrived an hour late for the program which was supposed to start at 2 pm. He got on the stage and started abusing the businessmen. Anil began his monologue by taking a jibe at the organizers for having to bear all his profanities despite already handing him the reward for the talk show.

One irate man came from the audience and confronted Anil for his diatribe against a businessman. This paved the way for more to join in protest. Anil Balanchandran tried all the tricks in his book to defend his side but failed. The organizers soon announced that the talk show was cancelled.

The organizers informed that the time allotted to Anil was till 4 pm but he took more time and other programs were also delayed. It was reported that Anil earlier threatened the organizers about not attending the show despite completing the payment. The organizers had requested Anil to not use expletives in his talk show, but the speaker didn’t comply.
