Span of under-construction bridge collapse; workers fall into water, two missing

ALAPPUZHA: The span of an under-construction bridge collapsed at Keecherilkadavu in Chennithala, throwing several workers into the water.

Seven workers fell into the water after the collapse. Two of them are still missing, while the others swam to safety. The missing workers have been identified as Kichu Raghav from Kallumala, Mavelikkara, and Binu from Karuvatta. Search operations are ongoing to locate them.
