PUTHUPALLY: There is no conspiracy in the incident of placing the posters of LDF’s rally region rally’s poster on former chief minister Oommen Chandy's grave. It has been found that the poster and garlands were placed by a mentally challenged youth. This was revealed from the CCTV footage of the church. The Kottayam East Police is investigating the incident. The youth has not been found yet.

Both the CPM and the Congress suspect that someone may have made him do it. Both the fronts are leveling allegations against each other in the incident. The CPM has filed a complaint with the police in the incident. Kottayam district secretary T R Raghunathan asked why the Congress is not filing a complaint. He also clarified that he only has respect for Oommen Chandy. Raghunathan alleged that the Congress and the UDF tried to create a political controversy.

Meantime, senior Congress leader Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan asked why Oommen Chandy is being taunted even after his death. Jose K Mani said the incident has caused pain. Kodikunnil Suresh MP said placing the poster on Chandy's grave is a conspiracy.
