Sree Narayana Guru’s statue found abandoned in capital city

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A statue of Sree Narayana Guru was found abandoned at a canal in Ulloor. The locals took the statue out from the canal. Who abandoned the statue in the canal is not clear. The statue found in the canal was placed on the way from Ulloor to medical college.

The old statue installed here was replaced with a new statue made of Panchaloham. This old statue was found abandoned in the canal. The SNDP union has come forward demanding an investigation into the incident. Thiruvananthapuram SNDP union vice president Chenthi Anil said that a complaint will be filed with the police.
