Summer rains intensifying: Yellow alert in three districts, strong winds possible

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department has announced that summer rains will intensify in the state for four days from tomorrow. There is a possibility of thundershowers in isolated places in Kerala tomorrow (Monday). Day after tomorrow (Tuesday), thundershowers and strong winds with a speed of 30 to 40 km/h are expected, according to information from the Indian Meteorological Department. A yellow alert has also been issued in various districts in the coming days. A yellow alert has been issued in Palakkad, Malappuram and Wayanad districts on April 2. On April 3, a yellow alert has been declared in the Palakkad, Malappuram and Wayanad districts.
