Suresh Gopi calls on Nayanar’s family, one reason for being so close

KANNUR: Suresh Gopi, who came to Kerala after taking charge as Union Minister of State, first visited the house of former chief minister E K Nayanar. Nayanar's wife Sarada Teacher said there is nothing new in his visit. There is no politics in the visit. She said that he had visited us many times. The two families have a close bond of years. Sarada teacher responded that she will not ask the politics of people coming home.

'My comrade is not a hypocrite, has a loving open mind. That must be the reason for Suresh Gopi to be so attached to him. He calls him Acha. When he used to call me earlier, he used to ask me how is achan. He calls me amma. After his demise, he is giving me double love including the love given to him.’

‘Suresh is a good individual. Even after the death of comrade, he used to visit me. If he comes to attend a function nearby, he has lunch from my house. I am happy in seeing him as a MP. There is no politics in this as you people think. Politics is always different. Don't confuse it with love,' clarified the teacher.
