THRISSUR: Union Minister Suresh Gopi reached Thrissur amidst the controversy over voting irregularities. Suresh Gopi did not utter a word to the media about the controversy even at the Thiruvananthapuram railway station either. Meantime, Thrissur ACP will investigate the case of Suresh Gopi including votes in Thrissur just before the Lok Sabha elections. The action is on the complaint filed by KPCC political affairs committee member T N Prathapan to the Thrissur City Police Commissioner.
The complaint is that Suresh Gopi, a permanent resident of Thiruvananthapuram, illegally included votes in Thrissur by giving false declarations and affidavits. Suresh Gopi cast his vote at booth number 115 in the Thrissur assembly constituency.
