Swaraj says not a bit worried, expecting huge majority: Shoukath; heavy rain in Nilambur

NILAMBUR: Left candidate M Swaraj asked the voters of Nilambur to cast their votes. He clarified that he is not a bit worried and that the confidence he gained from the constituency is strong. After casting his vote in the booth at Mankuth School, Swaraj said that his confidence increases in every stage.

UDF candidate Aryadan Shoukath responded that he expects a huge majority in the constituency. Will wrest the constituency. The LDF will be right behind the UDF. Shoukath said the race is between the UDF and the LDF. Aryadan Shoukath visited the nearby booths in the morning.


After the votes are counted, Aryadan will go to pen a story, Swaraj can go to the secretariate, and I will go to the assembly, P V Anwar told media in the morning. Anvar alleged that the UDF candidate did not talk about politics and campaigned with movie dialogues. He said that he will get 25 % votes from the LDF and 35 % votes from the UDF.
Meanwhile, when they met in person at the Veettikuth booth, Swaraj and Shoukath embraced each other.


The polling in the constituency started at 7 am. There are heavy rains in the constituency. The UDF has complained that there is no light in booth two. The officials are looking into the matter.
