Theft at HC judge’s house; steals gold of six sovereigns

KOCHI: A theft took place at high court judge justice A Badharudeen’s house near Kalamassery in Kochi. His private secretary Rehana T R filed a complaint at the Kalamassery police station. Police said the theft happened Monday morning between 9 am and 12 noon.

Ornaments of six sovereigns including bangles kept on the table of the bedroom were lost. The police investigation is focusing on those closely associated with the house. The Kalamassery police said the investigation has been intensified by focusing on CCTV footage in the area.
