'Truth will prevail'; Rahul Mamkootathil MLA's first response to sexual assault complaint

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rahul Mamkootathil MLA responded to the sexual harassment complaint filed by a woman against him to the chief minister. Rahul said he will fight for justice as long as his conviction remains that he has not committed any crime. The response was made through a Facebook post.

Meanwhile, actress Rini Ann George expressed her happiness over the woman filing a complaint against Rahul.

“I am very happy. May the truth prevail. This is great proof that no matter how much false propaganda is spread, the truth will prevail in its glory. It is not just one survivor; there are many with whom the politician misbehaved. I hope other women will come forward in the coming days. Justice should be achieved. When I revealed my experience in life, I faced a very intense cyber-attack,” Rini told a channel.

It was Rini who first raised allegations against Rahul. In an interview with Kaumudy Channel, she revealed that the young leader, who is a public representative, had sent her obscene messages and had harassed even the daughter of a famous politician in the party.
