Two killed in jeep-lorry collision in Ramanattukara

KOZHIKODE: Two persons were killed after a jeep collided with a lorry at Ramanattukara in Kozhikode. The accident happened below the Ramanattukara flyover on the national highway early Monday morning at 2.30 am. Those in the jeep identified as Shyam V Shashi and George, natives of Kottayam, are those dead.

The accident happened after the jeep proceeding to Thrissur and the lorry to Kozhikode collided. The two died on the way to the medical college hospital. Sanitizers and gloves were in the jeep. It is believed that the accident happened when they were returning after taking stock.
