THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: "The Veena at home and the Veena in the ministry are the liabilities of Pinarayi Vijayan. It is a situation where both Veenas are causing the end of Vijayan. It would be better for Kerala to resign the Health Minister and let her read the news again," said K Muraleedharan. "The Health Minister is a person who closed the news channel where she worked forever. The party's difficult time began when she joined the CPM. Now the Health Minister himself is directly killing the Health Department."

"We see people who walk to the hospital for treatment returning home with cotton in their noses. In Kerala, if one is bitten by a rabid dog and does not get vaccinated, they die within a few days, and if they get an injection, they die within five days. Veena George's vamp talk about the health sector, even after Minister Saji Cherian's words, is shameful. The state's health minister left the government vehicle and escort and went to the house of Bindu, who was killed by the health department, in a private vehicle, accompanied by goons."

"We reject with contempt the DYFI's announcement that those protesting against the Health Minister will face consequences. Such threats won't work here," Muraleedharan said. He was inaugurating the district-level dharnas held in front of hospitals in taluk centres under the leadership of the District Congress Committee against the state government's neglect and indifference towards the health sector. DCC President Palode Ravi presided over the event.
