WAYANAD: Students had a narrow escape from a wild elephant attack in Pozhuthana town around 11 PM last night. The incident involved three Plus Two students — Rihan, Riswan, and Sabir.

The trio fled the scene after spotting the charging elephant. The elephant reportedly chased them from their school in Pozhuthana all the way to their home. Along the way, it destroyed several two-wheelers parked on the roadside. CCTV footage of the students escaping the elephant attack has surfaced.

Reports also indicate that multiple elephants have entered the Pozhuthana area. Additional CCTV footage shows elephants passing near a house in the locality.
