Two students killed in tipper-bike collision in Mavelikkara

ALAPPUZHA: Two students were killed when a tipper lorry collided with a bike in Mavelikkara. The two dead have been identified as Manav (18) and Adithyan (16) of Peringilipuram. The accident happened early Monday morning at 2 am in Michel Junction, Mavelikkara. The accident occurred while they were returning home after playing football on the turf in Mavelikkara, and dropping off a friend at Olaketty Temple. Manav died on the spot and Adithyan at a private hospital in Parumala. Manav is the son of Madhu and Savita and Adithyan is son of Ratheesh and Soumya.
