Woman dies as sari catches fire while burning waste 

KOZHIKODE: A 62-year-old woman was killed after her sari caught fire while burning garbage at her house in Nadapuram. The dead is Kamala of Thiruvangoth Thazhekuni in Chekkiad. The fire spread to her sari while she was burning garbage at her house the other day.

Kamala, who suffered serious burns, was admitted to a private hospital in Kozhikode. She succumbed to her injuries this morning while undergoing treatment. She leaves behind her husband Kunhiraman, daughter Sunitha and son-in-law Ajayan.
