‘Investigate about gold that is still being smuggled’; Minister’s reply when asked about Kodakara heist case

THRISSUR: Minister of State Suresh Gopi said the Kodakara heist case is fabricated by the media. When asked about the Kodakara money heist case, the minister sarcastically told media investigate gold smuggling.

‘Investigate the gold that is still being smuggled and whether the money obtained from it has been given for terrorist activities. Isn't this all your story? Tell them to call the CBI. What is beyond that? I am very transparent. You should not be the police and the investigating officers. You don't have the right for that,' said Suresh Gopi.

Tirur Satheesh, the former secretary of the BJP office, had revealed yesterday that the Kodakara hawala money dealing is a real incident. With this, the incident was discussed again. While talking to the media a few minutes ago, Satheesh said he has the evidence for handling the money.

Meantime, BJP state president K Surendran said the new revelation in the hawala case is an election stunt. He also alleged that there is a conspiracy behind discussing the case now.

The office secretary was sacked two years ago. We need to find out with whom Tirur Satheesh is now. He also said that the P R agency working for the Palakkad UDF candidate is behind the present allegations.
