PALAKKAD: Minister M B Rajesh expressed government’s full support to actress Vincy Aloshious, who revealed her bad experience on the film set. The minister spoke to Vincy the other day. The actress also said that she would cooperate with the investigation.
The tendency of film workers to isolate the actress for speaking out is not right. An iron fist will be used against drugs. Excise searches will be tightened on film sets. There will be searches everywhere, the minister told media.
Vincy Aloshious had revealed the other day that an actor had misbehaved with her and her colleagues after taking drugs on the film set. Vincy made this revelation in a video shared on social media. Vincy made this statement while explaining her stand that she would no longer act with actors using drugs. However, she did not reveal the name of the actor or the name of the film. It was later revealed that actor Shine Tom Chacko had misbehaved with Vincy on the set of the film 'Soothravakyam'. This was after Vincy filed a complaint with the Film Chamber against Shine.
Meantime, Shine Tom Chacko termed Vincy's complaint as baseless and said that it was given out of ego. Shine had also clarified that Vincy is his family friend. ‘It is wrong to say that I misbehaved with her. This is not confirmed by the director or producer of the film. I did not use drugs on the set of the film,’ said Shine.
