PALAKKAD: P V Anvar came to the fore criticizing opposition leader V D Satheesan again. Anvar told a media that Satheesan is not the last word of the congress party and that he has not gone after the UDF. Only if the chapter is opened, it should be closed. Anvar quipped that Congress has not only one door, the windows and doors of the KPCC are all open.

Anvar’s words
The Congress leaders are still contacting me. I am being contacted by UDF leaders who don’t want the BJP to win. BJP will win in Palakkad constituency. Things are moving towards that. If BJP wins, they will put the responsibility on me. The Muslim section of Palakkad is saying that C Krishnakumar helped. They will never vote for Congress. No compromise on N K Sudhir in Chelakkara.

Meantime, opposition leader V D Satheesan responded that P V Anvar has not grown up to negotiate with UDF and there is no discussion with him for election cooperation. Anvar formed a new party and came to cooperate with us. We spoke. Asked Anvar if he is coming to talk after fielding a candidate against us. We asked him to withdraw the candidate.

Anvar's reply was that he will withdraw if we request. I said requesting, withdraw. He later convened a press meet with conditions. Anvar asked to withdraw Ramya Haridas, the candidate announced by the AICC. How old is UDF? Anvar is asking to withdraw our candidate, mocked Satheesan.
