THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM is planning to re-induct former minister Saji Cherian into the cabinet after the Kerala High Court rejected the plea to disqualify him as MLA for making an anti-constitutional speech. The move comes in the wake of the legal proceedings on the allegations against Saji Cherian coming to an end. It is learnt that the matter will be considered in the CPM state secretariat tomorrow.

A division bench headed by Chief Justice S Manikumar dismissed the plea against Saji Cherian stating that there was no legal provision to remove him from the post of MLA. The police are also about to stop the investigation against the former minister in the anti-constitutional speech case. The case is about to be closed based on the legal advice that the anti-constitutional remark cannot be proved.
