PALAKKAD: BJP state president K Surendran came down heavily on Sandeep Warrier. "Didn't the Kaurava army lose even after keeping Shikhandi in the front? The strength of the tens of thousands of Sangh Parivar activists who are standing firmly on the ground will be understood when the votes are counted," Surendran said.
"It is only VD Satheesan's delusion that Congress can win the elections in alliance with SDPI and PFI like putting Shikhandis in front. Satheesan will have to resign from the post of opposition leader after this election. There is no vote for those who insulted the 'Balidanis'. Sandeep Warrier is nobody important to be thrown out. Let him prove what he is capable of," Surendran said, adding that the Congress has no job except for accepting beggars.
Meantime, opposition leader VD Satheesan said that MV Govindan, AK Balan, MB Rajesh and others have said that Sandeep Warrier is a crystal clear person and that if he comes to the party, they will welcome him wholeheartedly. "We welcomed Sandeep Warrier's interest in joining the Congress. We welcome him coming from the shop of hate to the shop of love," he said.
