CPM leadership meet to begin today: will formulate strategies to resist ED

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM state secretariat and state committe meeting to be held this week will discuss several issues including the strategies to resist the ED's action against the leaders including Chief Minister and the state government. The State secretariat is held on Monday and Tuesday. There will also be a discussion based on the central committee report of the party.

The measures ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and strategies to counter political allegations will be discussed. The party aims at political propaganda that the ED measures are part of a political conspiracy to obstruct the development activities of the government. They will also look into legal solutions to resist this. This is due to the fact that the Enforcement Directorate has again issued a notice to ex-Finance Minister Thomas Isaac to appear for questioning.
