THRUVANANTHAPURAM: The DYFI said that the statement made by the Union Minister against the arrest of P C George for hate speech was a challenge to the rule of law. Our Constitution envisions secularism as the basic framework for guaranteeing freedom of religion and worship. The DYFI statement said that it was shocking that the Union Minister who is responsible for its protection came to Thiruvananthapuram AR camp to express sympathy for PC George, who was arrested for defaming a religious community and making hate speech aimed at creating riots.

Union Minister's support proves that the words that came out of PC George's tongue was not a coincidence, he was an actor performing on Sangh Parivar's script. Muraleedharan's visit underscores that people like PC George is being directly appointed by the Central Government and the BJP to create riotous atmosphere in the state. Sangh Parivar has bought PC George's tongue. BJP's attempt in polluting the communal atmosphere in Kerala to capture fish from turbid water have repeatedly failed. BJP's move to create allies in Kerala by teaming up with communal organisations for votes was a part of this. When all such attempts failed, Muraleedharan's intervention proves that a Gujarathi conspiracy which aims at making gains by creating riots is behind all this. The DYFI also alleged that Muraleedharan had violated his oath of office.
