Hate speech case: George says he can't appear for questioning on Sunday; police to serve another notice

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former MLA PC George, who was served a notice by the police asking him to appear for questioning in the hate speech case, told the police that he cannot appear for questioning tomorrow due to illness. George said he can appear for questioning on another day suggested by police. George will be served another police notice.

PC George, who is scheduled to participate in the Thrikkakara by-election campaign tomorrow, was issued a notice by the police to appear for questioning. The police directed him to appear at the Thiruvananthapuram Fort Assistant Commissioner's office tomorrow to testify in the hate speech case.

Earlier, PC George had said that the government's 'Thrikkakkara drama', by staging interrogation to block his campaign, has come out.
