'Rahul Gandhi is cheating people of Wayanad and Kerala'; he is the biggest coward, says K Surendran

KOZHIKODE: BJP state president K Surendran said that Rahul Gandhi has proved that he is the biggest coward in Indian politics by deciding to contest in Raebareli.

"If Rahul had contested in Amethi, it could have been said that he was attempting to win back his own constituency. However, by naming himself the candidate in Raebareli, the only seat won by the Congress in UP last time, Rahul has proved that he is a coward. BJP's allegation that Rahul Gandhi is cheating the people of Wayanad and Kerala has turned out to be correct." Surendran said.

"Rahul Gandhi, who said that Wayanad was his family, has now cheated his family. Before the elections in Kerala, we had asked him to clarify whether he would be contesting in any other constituency in the country. However, Rahul Gandhi fooled the people of Wayanad as he always did. He hid the fact that he would contest in North India till the election in Wayanad was over. Rahul has also cheated the UDF and Congress workers who supported him in Wayanad," he said.

"Rahul will certainly lose in Raebareli as well. It is reported that there was no polling in any of the strongholds of the Congress in Wayanad. Even Congress workers are admitting that there was a strong sentiment against Rahul in Wayanad. Rahul lost in Amethi because he did nothing for the people there as an MP. The same result awaits him in Wayanad too," Surendran added.
