THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior CPM leader EP Jayarajan responded to former minister G Sudhakaran deciding not renew CPM membership. Jayarajan denied the allegations that the party ignored Sudhakaran. Jayarajan, while responding to the media, said that the party, over the years have considered Sudhakaran in all roles and still gives him the respect he deserves.

Jayarajan shared his experience working with Sudhakaran, which he said started during student days and denied news reports of the party ignoring the former minister. Jayarajan said Sudhakaran was a true comrade, and it would not be possible for him to leave the party.

“Sudhakaran is a very mature and experienced comrade. I don't think he would think wrongly about the party. I don't believe he would say that the state secretary ignored or ridiculed him. The party always treated Sudhakaran well. We have worked together since our student days. When I was the state secretary of the youth movement, Sudhakaran was the vice president,” said EP Jayarajan.

G Sudhakaran, in a Facebook post, said that he will not be renewing his membership in the party after 63 years and does not want to cause any trouble to the party leaders.
