‘All that time is over, Kunchacko Boban; get over the hangover and see the place around you’ 

Actor Kunchacko Boban's comment that good lunch should be provided in schools and not in prisons was widely discussed on social media. The actor said this while inaugurating the 'Subhiksham Thrikkakara' project providing a nutritious breakfast to children being implemented by Uma Thomas MLA for 7,081 children in 28 schools in Thrikkakara constituency.

The actor said that good food is presently available in prisons than what is served in schools. He also demanded that the government should prioritize protecting those who have not committed any crimes. Following this, Minister V Sivankutty had kindly invited Chackochan to visit him at a government school during lunch time.

Now, DYFI Kannur district secretary Sarin Sasi has also responded to the issue. He wrote on Facebook that Kunchacko Boban is in the hangover of Oommen Chandy's administration and all that time is over.
