'Better learn about Kerala's current govt, act accordingly'; AA Rahim MP warns actor Shine Tom

KOCHI: Member of Parliament AA Rahim warned actor Shine Tom to better learn about the current ruling government of Kerala and act accordingly.

AA RAHIM:

“What do the filmmakers have to say on this. An actress coming up to reveal such things shows the stooping low of the industry. DYFI is extending all possible support to the actress. The film directors have a clear idea of which actors are addicted to drugs in the industry. The actors and the producers are even aware of these lots. Why are they still keeping silent on the issue?

A popular campaign against drug addiction is going on beyond politics. The Chief Minister is conducting a presser every week to apprise on these matters. What is the role of the Malayalam film industry in this fight against drugs?

Yesterday, I saw news of a producer revealing that a leading actor demanded ganja as the first thing in the morning. Why is this person allowed to continue in this profession?”
