'I still feel sad when I think of Sudhichettan'; Anumol about message sent by Renu Sudhi

Renu Sudhi, widow of late actor Kollam Sudhi, has become a familiar face to Malayalis through her widely shared social media videos and reels. Recently, she launched her own YouTube channel, where she shares glimpses of her personal life, attracting tens of thousands of viewers.

Actress and television host Anumol has now publicly expressed her support for Renu, stating that she regularly watches her videos. Anumol, who had previously worked with Kollam Sudhi, said that a natural bond exists between her and Renu due to that association.

“Though I’m not in close contact with her, Renu occasionally messages me and shares links to her work. I always respond positively,” Anumol said in a viral social media video.

Reflecting on Sudhi's passing, Anumol added, “I still feel sad when I think of Sudhichettan. But can Renu be expected to just stay at home because he is no longer with us? This is my personal view—she should be free to do what she wants.”

Renu Sudhi has been at the receiving end of cyberattacks, with some users making harsh comments, suggesting that as a widow, she should remain indoors. However, many others have come to her defence, asserting that her life choices are her own and no one has the right to dictate them.
