Ending the long suspense and the mishmash of votes, Anumol lifted the title of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 on Sunday. Anumol also has the distinction of being the first woman to lift the Bigg Boss trophy after Dilsha. However, her win has been marred by rampant allegations of PR work. With social media discussing the matter, Anumol’s sister came with an explanation.

Anumol’s sister:

“I feel so happy and proud. Many people are sending us messages. Anumol has never been away from us for so many days. I just want to meet her first and hug her a lot. The allegations of PR work are nothing but cases of sour grapes.

How much content has Anu given from the first episode to the last episode? You know how much effort she has put in and how active she is. Others have degraded her by blaming PR. She deserved the title, and I don’t have anything to talk about degraders. People understood the reality, and they voted for her.”

Anumol:

I knew I could survive for so many days in Bigg Boss. I wasn't acting in that house. I got the title through hard work. I have PR and have no qualms admitting that. But I didn't give Rs 16 lakh to them as told by many. If I had that much money, I would have stayed at home. There was no point in coming here. No one in my family was interested in me going to this game. I forced them to agree. I gave one lakh to PR. I am a miser when it comes to money.”
