‘Three girls brought to empty building near beach was gangraped’

Alleppey Ashraf was talking in connection with the sexual abuse of a Dalit girl, an athlete in Pathanamthitta. Alleppey Ashraf also talks about some other incidents that happened in Kerala.

Ashraf said three girls were found dead in the class in 2008 at Ambalapuzha, near my hometown. This is a case that created a lot of sensation in Kerala at that time. The case was first investigated by the local police and then the crime branch took over it. The crime branch in their report said these three girls were brought to an empty building near the Alappuzha beach and gangraped.

Their classmates were behind it. The lover of one of the girls set the trap for this cruelty. He sexually abused her and captured the visuals. He then threatened her by showing this and set the trap for the gangrape. They captured the visuals and circulated to their friends. The girls ended their lives due to this. Even today, their parents shed tears on it. All the accused in this case were acquitted due to lack of evidence. The court verdict blamed the police.
