'Let them arrest my dead father': Son reacts to AI camera notice sent to late father

PALAKKAD: AI camera notice for violation of traffic rules has been sent to a person who passed away a year and a half ago.The notice was received at Palakkad resident Vinod's house. The AI camera detected that the rear seat passenger of the two-wheeler driven by Vinod's deceased father was not wearing a helmet.

Chandrasekaran, a native of Kavalpad, Palakkad, died at the age of 89 a year and a half ago. He was bedridden with Alzheimer's for seven months before his death. His children say that they have not even taken out the punctured scooter since then.

Chandrasekaran's family is in shock after receiving a fine for this vehicle.

'None of us touch my father's scooter. The vehicle has not been taken out for the last year and a half. Now let them arrest my father, what else can be done'- says Vinod.
