Gold prices soar again on May 16, check latest price

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Gold prices rose sharply in the state today with an increase of Rs 560 per gram of gold. The price of one sovereign gold is Rs 54,280, the highest rate recorded this month. Today's gold price per gram is Rs 6,785. ON Wednesday, the price of one sovereign of gold was Rs 53,720.

Although there has been an increase in the price of gold in the state, the global gold trade indicates a slight loss. The highest gold price in the history of Kerala was recorded last month. On April 19, the price of one sovereign gold was priced at Rs 54,520 and Rs 6,815 per gram.
