THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A new World Trade Center will be developed at Technopark to further strengthen the IT development of the state of Kerala. Technopark CEO Colonel (retd) Sanjeev Nair and Brigade Group COO Hrishikesh Nair signed the MoU in this regard. Brigade Group Executive Chairman MR Jaishankar was present on the occasion.

The new center with a business-class hotel and premium IT space will complement the existing infrastructure developments of Technopark. Technopark can attract more IT companies and investments as more Grade A offices materialize. It will also help mark Thiruvananthapuram as a top IT hub on the international map.

Brigade Enterprises Limited's Brigade Square Technopark Phase-I is nearing completion. With the new World Trade Center also set up, Kerala will be recognized as an IT hub that ensures world-class standards. The World Trade Center was proposed as part of a larger mixed-use development concept that would include hotels, serviced apartments, hostels, retail and entertainment. It is expected to create 15,000 jobs. Brigade Group had signed an MoU with Technopark and the state government on 11 February 2019 for the World Trade Centre.
