KANNUR: KPCC president K Sudhakaran said that the Congress will no longer conduct hartal in the state and the party is against this form of protest. "Congress is against the hartal and will no longer declare a hartal under my presidency. Even though there is no hartal, there will be a fierce protest against the budget", he said. The budget presented in the state on Friday was largely criticized due to its unpopular announcements and tax hikes.
