Rape inside ambulance: no lapses from hospital, says report

THRISSUR: The medical college principal has cleared the hospital from any wrongdoings in the latest report made. The principal has made a report that says no lapses were committed on the part of the hospital. Earlier, the health minister asked for a report from the principal on the abominable issue that shocked the senses of Kerala.

The arrested Dayalal entered the ambulance as a bystander of the patient. The hospital has no onus into the actions of the arrested one, the report says. The women officials inside the hospital took serious care of the patient brought in critical.

On Friday, a lady who attempted suicide by poison was brought to Kaipamanagalam taluk hospital. Assessing the critical situation, the doctors ordered the patient to be shifted immediately to medical college. From here, the peeking Dayalal wiggled into the ambulance, duping the staff and making himself the bystander of the patient. It was only after days that the patient revealed the rape attempts inside the ambulance to her relative. The hospital was informed and the CCTV along with the name in the register blocked all ways of escape for Dayalal. The offender is a temporary staff in the Kodungallur taluk hospital.
