Defamatory remarks against PM Modi; BJP submits breach of privilege notice against Rahul Gandhi

NEW DELHI: The BJP has submitted a breach of privilege and contempt of the House notice against Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha. The notice says that Rahul Gandhi made ‘misleading, derogatory and indecent’ statements against the Prime Minister. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi demanded action against Rahul.

There has also been a demand to remove Rahul's speech from the records. Following Rahul's statement yesterday, the BJP members demanded to place the related documents in the House, but he is not ready to do so. It was in this situation that the BJP issued such a notice against Rahul.
