'A red band won't make you a communist': MV Jayarajan hits back at Akash thillenkery

KANNUR: The party has always distanced away from quotation gangs, said CPM Kannur district secretary MV Jayarajan. The CPM won't kowtow before such gang criminals, asserted Jayarajan in a sly reply directed at the rebel CPM member Akash Thillenkery.

“Quotation gangs are a social abomination. In 2013 itself P Jayrajan, the then-Kannur district secretary ousted such members from the party. Gang criminals work devoid of any political affiliation. Society should coalesce together to fight such elements” MV Jayarajan opined.

He also said that the quotation gangs thrive and lead a carefree life. "Akash thillenkery’s life is no different. With the inflow of money, the man is showing his supercilious side. A red band on the head won't make you a communist",

He further requested Akash to take away the suffix Thillnekery to show some respect to the land of revolution.
