'Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur for BJP, rest 18 seats for LDF, that is their deal'; K Muraleedharan

THRISSUR: K Muraleedharan, the UDF candidate in Thrissur, said that there is a secret understanding between the CPM and the BJP for the Lok Sabha elections in Kerala. He alleged that as per the formula of this secret understanding, the BJP would win two out of the twenty seats in Kerala, while the CPM would win the remaining eighteen. He added that the Congress would destroy this formula and achieve victory in all 20 seats in the state.

"I'm 100 percent sure that the UDF will win with massive majorities in all 20 seats, including Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur. As far as the UDF is concerned, there is no doubt regarding Thrissur. We will definitely win. Long queues are being witnessed in the coastal belts. This is favourable for the UDF," Muraleedharan said.

"I was the first one to point out the secret understanding between the CPM and the BJP. Back then, people did not take it seriously. That secret understanding is very strong. As per the formula of this secret understanding, the BJP would win in Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur, while the remaining 18 would go to the LDF. Everything will happen in the CPM only with the knowledge of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Pinarayi Vijayan came to the Thrissur CPM district office in connection with Karuvannur Bank to secure the deal," Muraleedharan said.

"Prominent leaders of the CPM did not take part in the election campaign works in Thrissur. This is the biggest evidence of the secret deal between the CPM and the BJP. The main objective of this deal is to destroy the Congress. Through this deal, the CPM intends to achieve two goals- to get rid of the cases against its leaders and to destroy the Congress," he added.
