‘Be it Menon or Nair, what’s the point if you haven’t completed the job that you are obliged to do’; Shine Tom Chacko slams co-star Samyuktha

Actor Shine Tom Chacko have lashed out at actress Samyuktha for not participating in the promotion of their upcoming film ‘Boomerang’. “Why didn't she attend the promotional events of the movie? If someone has taken up a job, you are obliged to complete it.”, Shine said. Samyuktha had recently removed her caste name ‘Menon’ from her name. Shine responded to a question about this stance.

“Not coming to the promotion of the film can’t be made correct just because the name change. We get names after we are born in this Earth. What good does it do if you drop your caste name but do not appear for movie promotions? What’s the point of being a Menon, Hindu, Muslim, or Christian? As a human being, one has to be able to understand their fellowbeings. She is not attending the promotion thinking that she has done a bad job.”, said the actor.

Meanwhile, the producer of ‘Boomerang’ also reacted against Samyukhta. “When I called Samyuktha for attending the promotion, she said film that she is currently working in a 35-crore budget film and had to take care of her career. She said that she is settled in Hyderabad. Samyuktha is the most important character in the film and she they also played the part well.
