RSS was an organization raised by British, not to save Hindus but to crush freedom struggle; EP Jayarajan

THRISSUR: LDF convener EP Jayarajan participated in the 'Janakeeya Prathirodha Jatha' led by CPM State Secretary MV Govindan. He became a part of the march in Thrissur today after a controversy arose over his non-participation in the march that started last month. EP Jayarajan used the jatha platform to criticize BJP and the central government.

EP Jayarajan said that RSS is an organization formed and nurtured by the British to destroy the Indian freedom struggle. He went on to say that it is wrong to say that the founding purpose of RSS is to protect the Hindus of India. The CPM leader also criticized the BJP-led central government. He said that since the 2014 elections, a communal force has taken over the country and Indian politics is going through serious crises.

EP Jayarajan accused BJP of being a Sangh Parivar-led political party and not performing any mission for the people of the country. At the same time, he also mentioned the incident where he was shot while traveling by train. Pinarayi Vijayan was the target of the attackers. But he was not on the train that day. EP also warned that if Pinarayi Vijayan is attacked, he will not stand there watching with folded hands.
