Running KSRTC bus catches fire in Thiruvananthapuram, bus burnt fully

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A running KSRTC bus caught fire at Azhoor in Chirayinkeezhu in the capital city. The bus which caught fire was coming to Thiruvananthapuram from Attingal. The incident happened at noon.

The driver and the passengers noticed smoke emanating from the side of the engine. The driver immediately stopped the bus and evacuated almost 30 passengers from the bus. The bus caught fire soon after the incident.

The bus has been burnt fully. All the passengers of the bus are safe. Two units of the fire force reached the spot and took nearly 15 minutes to douse the flames.
