'Slapped wrong person in mall'; Saniya reveals truth behind infamous incident

Saniya Iyyapan has finally opened up about the infamous incident that happened months back inside a mall in Kozhikode. The actress in the incident slapped a person who according to her tried groping her amidst the rush. Many people came forwards saying she slapped the wrong guy who never indulged in such indecency.

In an interview with Dhanya Varma, Iyyapan revealed the truth behind that incident. Saniya said she never got the wrong guy and asserts it was the same person who tried groping her. She said if it was an accident, the person would have reacted back, but nothing of that sort happened. The actress said the man had an attitude of ‘ I don't care’ since he had all the joy in the rush.

Saniya was trolled for her fashionable dress and got ridiculed in cyberspace for the incident. Many people even advocated for the person who got slapped saying it is not him but the revealed dress which is the real problem. Saniya says, these are times even when a fully covered actress gets to experience such bitter incidents in public. Saniya is currently canceling all public promotions as the fear that gripped her has not yet left completely.
