Cabinet recommends name of Dr Prakashan P P as PSC member

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The cabinet which met decided to recommend the name of Dr Prakshan P P as a new member for the existing vacancy among the members of the Public Service Commission. A native of Thrissur Cheruthuruthi Puthussery, Dr Prakashan is an associate professor in Malayalam Department at Pattambi Government College.




The cabinet approved a draft bill to amend Sections 62 and 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 with regard to issuance of summons through electronic medium.

The cabinet which met here today also decided to sanction an additional amount of Rs 33.4 crore for the second phase of rehabilitation of Veliyamkall regulator cum bridge at Thrithala across Bharathapuzha and reconstruction of the damaged retaining wall.-
