KOTTAYAM: Asish Das IAS, brother-in-law of the girl, who committed suicide due to cyber bullying, came forward with a crucial revelation. Even after lodging a complaint with the police, Arun continued to harass Athira. If this was the situation with my sister then what would be the condition of the common people, asked the IAS officer.

Asish Das said that he had given his support to Athira. It was a house where a marriage pandal was supposed to rise and a death pandal has been erected now, he added. Das is serving as a sub collector in Manipur.

Asish had posted an emotional note on Facebook soon after her death. The post said she took the drastic step due to cyber bullying and online harassment. Maximum punishment should be awarded to him.
