KOZHIKODE: The woman, who was stabbed by a man in the KSRTC SWIFT bus last night, has opened up about the attack. Gudalur native Seetha was stabbed by a man named Sunil. Seetha said that she had seen Sunil in Angamaly and that she got inside the bus as she was afraid of him. Sunil got on the bus from Edappal.

"I am a widow. Sunil had said that he liked me and was interested in marrying me. I then told him that I have a child and that I was not interested in marriage. My family also opposed this proposal. During the bus journey, Sunil took a knife from his bag and stabbed me saying that I was constantly talking to another person over the phone," Seetha said.

The attack took place last night inside the bus going from Munnar to Bengaluru. Sunil had slit his own throat after stabbing the woman's chest. Both of them are undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital. Although the woman's condition has improved, the man is still in critical condition.
