Commissioner takes 5kg mangoes from shop; owner reaches police station stunned

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Pothencode M S Stores owner G Muraleedharan Nair had a rare customer last week, a policeman. The officer purchased 5 kg of mangoes for the Assistant commissioner and SI at the Pothencode police station. He asked Muraleedharan Nair to collect cash later from the police station. However, even after one month, the payment remained due. Muraleedharan Nair reached the police station to collect his money for the mangoes purchased. However, he found it difficult to recognize the police officer who reached his shop. the search went on putting the police offers in a fix. After some time, Muraleedharan Nair stood still hearing the slow baritone of one police officer who said, "It was a fraud, you got cheated".

A case was registered and a detailed search is on for the culprit.
