Terrorist conspiracy case: NIA raids various locations in Jammu Kashmir

SRINAGAR: The National Investigating Agency (NIA) is carrying out raids at various locations in Jammu and Kashmir in connection with the terrorist conspiracy case. The raids are being carried out in regions, including Srinagar, Kupwara, Poonch and Rajouri.

Five soldiers were killed in an encounter with terrorists in the Kandi Forest Area in Rajouri last Friday. The encounter between the security forces and terrorists began at around 8 am on May 5. Four soldiers, including an officer, sustained injuries. The NIA began conducting raids following this incident.

On April 20, five soldiers were killed in an attack against an army truck in Tota Gali in Poonch.
