Thiruvananthapuram native arrested for stealing revered Trishul from temple

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man was arrested for stealing the revered swords and Trishul from a temple near Arumanoor. Local native Jyothish(34) was arrested by Poovar police. On April 27th, Jyothish broke inside the temple through the front door and took away the revered sword and Trishul from the temple.

The locals and temple committee complained to the police about the robbery. The CCTV visuals were checked after which the police arrested Jyotish. Days back, a similar incident happened in another temple in Karakonam where the locals waited in the dark to catch the robber and hand him later to the police. The visuals from CCTV were viral on the internet.
